Vision:

To make the Triangle one of the top five centers for innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.

Mission:

To act as a catalyst, connector and convener of innovative enterprises and thinkers in Raleigh and the Triangle.

Background:

Innovate Raleigh is a 501c3 based in Raleigh and was established in 2011 to harness the robust entrepreneurial and business innovation community that began to gain momentum five years ago. Important initiatives were developed from our early work, like devising the concept of HQ Raleigh co-working space and brokering a direct flight from RDU to SFO. Innovate Raleigh's goal is to foster business and community development and facilitate the process of innovation to enhance the regional economy. We contribute to a hospitable and vibrant ecosystem via year-round events, theme-driven summits and the Triangle Maker + Doers Film Series, thus allowing leading edge ideas and businesses to flourish throughout the Triangle. Innovate Raleigh was founded by Mary-Ann Baldwin, Raleigh City Councilor at Large and Terri Lomax, VP of Discovery-Science-Technology at RTI International.
